Partitions

Different types and styles

Partitions are ideal for dividing an area to create additional rooms or offices. They come in a variety of styles and sizes.

Standard module

Generally office partitioning is based on a 1200mm wide module and is either solid, part glazed or fully glazed.

Construction

There are four main types of partition:

Metal stud

Very cost effective, this type of partition is used for fire rated applications and were ambient noise might be a problem.

Aluminium framed

Used for most internal applications where there are no special environment issues.

Storage wall

This is an addition to a system and adds a wall that contains storage space.

Glass Wall

Fully glazed systems to create sophisticated working environments.

Modular Systems

Modular systems provide personalised and private areas in open plan offices. They can create free-standing enclosures and screens, or be used as display and exhibition stands. Such systems are movable, allowing flexibility for today's changing office environments.
